Auto care is an important and viable industry. Vehicle age has grown by 22.3 percent since 2002, leading to more SKU’s, more services rendered, more stores needed and therefore, more jobs.
As indicated by the trend of these data, there is a long-term, sustained demand for maintenance and repair of vehicles. According to Autocrat Association Market Intelligence, the automotive sector is expected to increase by 37% in sales from $277 billion in 2007 to a projected $381.1 billion by the end of 2017.
